Personnel
Michael S. Ziehler, P.E.
I am a registered professional engineer with over twelve years of structural engineering design and project management experience. I received my bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville and my master’s degree from Colorado State University. As the owner and principal engineer of Ziehler Engineering, I can promise that all your needs will receive my full and personal attention.
Throughout my career, I have acquired extensive design experience in all market sectors for new construction as well as in the evaluation, renovation and repair of existing structures. These projects have allowed me to design with most construction materials including steel, reinforced concrete, reinforced masonry and timber. My broad range of expertise can become your advantage to build the most efficient and cost-effective structure.
Over the years I have been involved with many worthy organizations that have significantly shaped my career. In particular, I am currently a construction site supervisor, construction committee member and structural engineer for Habitat for Humanity of the Saint Vrain Valley. This endeavor has not only been spiritually rewarding, but has also expanded my technical knowledge and practical construction awareness. I realize there are many competent engineers that can meet the design needs of your projects, but I believe very few have the hands-on construction experience I do. This awareness allows me to create innovative yet practical designs and identify problematic areas before construction begins, reducing the possibility of costly project delays. I look forward to meeting you and discussing how I would be a great addition to your design team!
